Vehicle Graphics Process

Step 1: Design

The first step in the vinyl graphics process is to create your design. The design is the most important component for a vehicle graphics wrap project to be successful. When you’re driving around the city in your wrapped vehicle, you want to ensure that people see an accurate representation of your business and everything it has to offer. People have graphics fatigue in our modern world, they’ve become so accustom to seeing graphics on the vehicles around them that you want to make sure you create a design that will stand out from competition.

At our Phoenix graphics wrap shop, we have a talented group of designers that will walk you through the design process. They will work closely with you to create the initial graphic design proof of concept. Our designers will then present the proof of concept for your vehicle wrap and then provide three rounds of design modifications to tweak the design exactly to your liking.

Step 2: Print

The next step in the graphics wrap process is print. Once your design has been completed and signed off, we will send your design to our commercial grade printers that are specially designed to print rich colors down to the slightest detail on 60″ wide rolls of vinyl wrap. For a full vehicle wrap, the graphics will come in several sheets of vinyl known as panels. These panels will later be expertly lined up on the vehicle during installation to make a complete vehicle wrap.

Step 3: Prep and Cleaning

In order to ensure the vinyl graphics have good adhesion to the vehicle, it is critical that we prep your vehicles surface before applying the vinyl wrap. Step three in the vehicle graphics process is to wash, clean, and prep the surface of your paint. We’ll start with a general wash to remove dirt, mud, salt, and road debris from your car, truck, van, or SUV. Next, we’ll remove any hard stuck materials like tree sap or road tar. Finally, we’ll wipe down the entire surface high and low with a vinyl prep cleaner and dry the paint with lint free chamois to make sure there are no left-over materials that could get stuck under the wrap.

Step 4: Installation

The final step in the graphics wrap process is the vinyl installation. Once the design has been signed off, the vinyl panels printed, and the vehicle is cleaned and prepped, our certified vinyl installers will carefully match each printed vinyl panel on your vehicle and install the graphics one panel at a time. Each panel will be treated with the utmost care to ensure there are no bubbles or creases and every corner and edge is tucked in a way that will ensure it will stay in place.
